Steve Davey has nearly 20 years of experience as a senior legislative, regulatory, media and political strategist. Steve has served as a Chief of Staff in both the California State Senate and State Assembly. He also has extensive experience as a campaign consultant on local, regional and statewide campaigns and initiatives.  In addition, Steve has managed coalition building, grassroots development and media relations strategies for a variety of clients.

 

Steve also served as Director of Government Affairs and Public Affairs for a statewide trade association.  In this capacity, he developed and implemented the overall legislative, regulatory and political strategy at the state and local levels. Steve was responsible for raising funds and managing the association’s Political Action Committee and Independent Expenditure Committee. He worked with the Communications team to create messaging to the media on political and policy issues. 

 

Davey is native Californian and lives in the Sacramento region with his children. He enjoys the outdoors, running, skiing and golf. He is a graduate and proud alumni of the University of California, Los Angeles. Go Bruins!
